Bobby Palmer Receives Rotarian of the Year Award

FORT MILL, SC (September 2, 2008)—Bobby Palmer of Robert Palmer and Associates, CPA received the Rotarian of the Year award from the Fort Mill Rotary Club at the annual banquet in July.

Bobby Palmer has been a member of the Fort Mill Rotary Club for three years and serves as treasurer and a board member. He is involved in many charity events, including the charity auction which raises money for local charities and schools.

The Rotarian of the Year award is presented to Rotary Club members who show outstanding involvement in Rotary activities and in the community, as well as exemplify the “Service Above Self” motto.

“I am extremely honored to receive this award,” says Palmer. “It’s really important to me to give back to the community that has given so much to me.”

Fort Mill Rotary Club Dan Mace nominated Bobby for the award. “I really admire Bobby’s willingness to step above and beyond for the community and this club,” says Dan Mace, of the Fort Mill Rotary Club. “He sets a great example for other members of the club to follow. Bobby definitely deserves this award.”
